How to Edit and Manage Contact Details

Maintain accurate client records by keeping profiles up to date as your relationships evolve.

Phase 1: Accessing the Profile

Start by locating the individual record that needs refinement.

  • Locate Contact: Go to the Contacts tab and use the search bar or list to find the specific person.

  • Enter Edit Mode: Click on the contact’s name to open their full profile, then select the Edit Details button.

Phase 2: Updating Core Information

Ensure the essential communication and categorization data is current.

  • Contact Info: Add or change phone numbers, email addresses, and physical mailing addresses.

  • Re-categorize: Adjust Contact Types (e.g., moving a "Lead" to a "Buyer") to reflect their current status in your pipeline.

  • Log Interactions: Update the Notes section with details from your most recent conversation or meeting.

Phase 3: Managing Specialized Data

Use the deep-dive tabs to track the specifics of the real estate lifecycle.

  • Explore Related Tabs: Switch between Properties (to track listings), Relationships (to link spouses or partners), and Follow Ups (to adjust communication schedules).

  • Save: Click Save Changes before exiting to ensure all updates are permanently logged to the client’s history.
